Body found in Saginaw intersection wrapped in tarp

SAGINAW, Texas (AP) — Police in the North Texas town of Saginaw are investigating after a body was found wrapped in a tarp in an intersection in a residential neighborhood.
Saginaw police spokesman Damon Ing says officers were called to the scene Monday evening.
Ing said police were not immediately releasing any more information, including the age of the victim or possible cause of death.
He says the body has been sent to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Saginaw, population about 17,000, is located just north of Fort Worth.
