From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., car enthusiasts, individuals, friends and families can enjoy looking at all the cars that will be parked in the Granbury Baptist church parking lot, enjoy different food vendors and listens to live music.
The Keep’em Runnin’ Car Show was first founded five years ago in 2016. The car show has been sponsored by the Granbury Baptist church and its congregants.
According to the car show’s website it “supports a community-wide car ministry to help those in need of a vehicle repair.”
The ministry has been running the past five years out of the church parking lot as well as home garages with little money to help fund the repairs. Recently, however, they have made the choice to take the next step thanks to community sponsors.
According to the car show’s website, “We are in the beginning stages of building a dedicated, volunteer driven, vehicle maintenance garage. Equipped with tools, a car lift, teaching stations for youth and undeserved adults and more.”
The car show is currently trying to raise funds for this dream, but still have a way to go. In order to make this dream of building a garage became a reality, the remaining total that needs to be raised is $37,000.

As luck would have it, however, a generous donor has offered to help. The Bond Arms Inc. in Granbury has offered to match all contributions, dollar for dollar. This means for every dollar the ministry raises, Bond Arms Inc. will match it. All that is needed is for the community to raise $18,500 and Bond Arms Inc. will match the rest.
This event will be free to everyone who would like to look at the cars and enjoy the food and music. There is a $15 car entry fee for those who would like to exhibit their cars in the show.
