By Houston Hall –

The bodies of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield were transferred to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office, and it will take eight to ten weeks for the autopsy report to be made available to the public, a spokesperson said.

Kyle and Littlefield were killed Saturday at a gun range at Rough Creek Lodge near Glen Rose. Kyle, a former Navy SEAL, is the author of American Sniper and a former student at Tarleton State University. Eddie Ray Routh, 25, of Lancaster, is being held at the Erath County Jail on $3 million bond in connection with the shootings.
