Officers arrest killing suspect

TEXAS (AP) — A suspect wanted in connection with a homicide last week has been arrested in Hutchins.
A Wichita Falls Police Department news release said Carlos Byrd Sr., 37, was arrested Tuesday.
Byrd is expected to be charged with shooting Glenn King Jr., 26, early Friday in the 400 block of Bailey Street. King was rushed to a hospital and died a short time later of a gunshot wound.
Police named Byrd as a suspect later in the day.
No motive has been revealed yet for the shooting.
