Pinspiration Stephenville is now open for business

For anyone who loves crafts, painting and wine, check out Pinspiration Stephenville, a DIY craft studio and wine bar located downtown next to the Blue-Eyed Buffalo.
The idea for Pinspiration originally came from the Pinterest app. The first location in the chain was opened in Scottsdale, Ariz. There are now 13 locations in the United States, three of which are in Texas. Pinspiration Stephenville owners, Amanda and Keith Mills, discovered the business a year ago and made a trip to Scottsdale to check out the original location.

“We just fell in love with it and the concept and the company. The franchisers even came down to Stephenville to meet us and helped us choose a location,” Mills said.
The building they are in was built in 1896. First, it was a harness shop, then a men’s clothing store, a women’s bridal shop, a law office and now a DIY craft studio and bar.
“We serve wine and beer here, so while you’re crafting and hanging out with friends, you can have a drink… We also have partnered up with Greer’s [Ranch Cafe]… We have a select menu from them and you just let us know what you want and they bring it right over to you,” Mills said.
Here are a few examples of the different crafts you can make at Pinspiration Stephenville.
When you walk in you are greeted with smiling faces and tons of different crafts you can choose from to create. They have string art, woodburning, acrylic pours, mugs and wine glasses to decorate, ink tiles and many more options.
“We offer core projects that will semi be around for a while because they are often pinned [on Pinterest] or we have seasonal projects that will come and go… What you do at Pinspiration is, you come in just like a restaurant. You don’t have to have a reservation like a lot of art studios require… and choose a craft that you want. Everything is priced and included in your price is the use of our facility. All of our embellishments, our paints and our tools.” Mills said.
Pinspiration also offers a VIP celebration room where parties or events can be held. From showers to birthday parties to business events, you name it and they’ll host it.

The splatter room is great if you want to be messy. Customers get suited up in painters suits, shoe covers and hair covers to go throw paint around on a canvas. They can choose to use glow paints and have the black lights turned on as well.
“This gives people an opportunity to come in and explore their creativity a little bit… You get to be hands-on. You get to just sit and enjoy someone’s company in a relaxing environment.”
Pinspiration Stephenville is located at 148 W College St, Stephenville, Tx. Tuesday through Thursday they are open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and they are closed on Monday.
