Smooches with Pooches event

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Erath County Humane Society is hosting Smooches with Pooches, a meet and greet with dogs and cats from their shelter on Feb. 13. The event will be held at Pet Supplies Plus in Stephenville at 106 Christy Plaza. Smooches with Pooches will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

When asked about the events and the outcomes desired Serena Wright, a worker at the Erath County Humane Society, had this to say, “We are hoping to get support for the shelter through this event.”

During the event, there will be a bake sale, photo booth, kissing booth and the chance to adopt both dogs and cats. There will also be the opportunity to bring your own pets and have them microchipped for $10.

Wright also mentioned they are hoping the bake sale and a coffee cart there will drawn people to the event and encourage them to get their animals microchipped in order to prevent lost animals.
