Sources confirm one death in Fort Hood shooting

KWTX News reports that at least one person has been killed after a shooting on Fort Hood late Wednesday afternoon.

A post spokesman said that others have been injured and the gunman is still at large.

The post made a brief statement around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday saying, “There has been a shooting at Fort Hood and injuries are reported. Emergency crews are on the scene. No further details are known at this time.”

According to KWTX, the post was on lockdown because of the shooting, which happened around 4:25 p.m.
