Dawes opened SPO in 2007 because he felt that it was what God was calling him to do. He believes that SPO is God’s business, not his own.
“God told us to open a shop in Stephenville. We believe it was definitely God because we didn’t want to stay in Stephenville,” Dawes said.
“The WAC didn’t break it, we didn’t break it, it came from the Lone Star Conference because they are upset we are leaving,” Hurley said. “They are losing their flagship institution, and what’s going to happen is there are more institutions…that want to go with us, really good institutions. I think they are starting to panic a little.”
Fans in the 100 and 200 level seating areas will no longer be able to bring bags into the stadium that are not clear. Fans can carry one large clear bag that is 14 inches by 6 inches by 14 inches or small clutch bags. Fans sitting in the Club Level and Suites will have their bags screened prior to entry.
Campus Recreation is more than just a gym. Students can go to work out classes, join an intramural sports team or join a sports club.
