Tyler Schuster, a junior Agricultural Industries and Agencies student, was named a member of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee this morning, according to an email from the President’s Office. Other members include regents from the Texas A&M System, the mayor of Fort Worth, Betsy Price, professors from different departments at Tarleton and Kenny Weldon, Commandant of Cadets.
The email explained the role the committee will play.
“The Presidential Search Advisory Committee will screen and interview candidates over the next several months before recommending three finalists to The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.”
Schuster is excited to be a part of this process.
“Being asked to be on the President Search Committee was such an honor,” she said. “I couldn’t be more excited to represent the students of Tarleton in the selection of our next president. I hope that my voice will represent 13,000 other students proudly.”
