There is also still time to register floats for the parade. Registration ends June 30 at 11 p.m. online.
Participants are not allowed to hand out candy, flyers, waters or any other item in order to minimize contact with spectators.
Splashville will be open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. for people to cool off from the summer heat.
At the Stephenville City Park, food trucks will be set up and a chalk art competition will begin at 3 p.m. as well as lawnmower races located at the grass field near the Birdsong Amphitheater parking lot and Bosque River. Registration and admission are free. Registration begins at 1 p.m., there will be a practice at 2 p.m. and then the racing begins. There are five different categories to compete in.
