Travel back to the old west at By-Gone Days on the Bosque

On Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct.10, the Stephenville Historical House Museum grounds will host By-Gone Days on the Bosque, a historical event to inform the community about their past.

Located at 525 E. Washington St, the event will feature reenactments of old western shootouts performed by the By-Gone Days Gunfighters along with other demonstrations.

Guest can also experience hands-on activities based on life back when Stephenville was being settled. Visitors can also get tours of the historical house grounds, shop at local craft vendors and eat a meal off of a chuck wagon.

Parking is located next to the Oxford House. The Bosque River Trail also provides a walking option with direct access to the museum grounds.
