For a Valentine’s Day-trip, there are a lot of sites to see at the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards including the shops of the Stockyards Station, the new Mule Alley district that has more upscale shopping venues and restaurants as well as the new Drover Hotel. You can step on over to the world’s biggest honky-tonk at Billy Bob’s Texas for a drink, play some pool, check out the past artists gallery or have a dance or two on the dance floor. The night life isn’t too bad either with plenty of bars, saloons or live music venues throughout the weekend.

If you are looking to go before the BIG DAY or after, you can get live rodeo action every Friday and Saturday night at the Stockyards Rodeo. Tickets are fairly cheap and usually always available for walk up purchases.
