As the Western Athletic Conference soccer season kicks off, here are Tarleton State’s top three players to watch: senior goalkeeper Mikayla Kendall, redshirt junior forward Avery Harr and senior forward Stevie Reynolds.

Mikayla Kendall is in her senior season and was named WAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year and All-WAC team. Kendall was also named as one of three goalkeepers to look out for in the 2025 season.

Avery Harr is back on the field this season following her ACL injury from the 2024 spring season. Harr is excited to go back on the road for the two biggest games this season, which she said are California Baptist and Utah Valley.

“I’m really looking forward to those, especially coming off of a win last year at CBU that I wasn’t a part of,’’ Harr said. “I’m excited to go there and show them who this new team is becoming.’’

Stevie Reynolds is in her senior season and has been named the WAC Offensive Player of the Week in the first week of action.

Reynolds' plans for the season are defeating CBU and to be the top goal scorer of the year.

“I’m looking most forward to playing CBU and taking them down because they are the reigning WAC champions,” Reynolds said. “I want to be top goal scorer, so I have to keep that going and just keep putting the ball in the back of the net and helping my team out if they need [an] assist or anything.”

The record so far this season is three wins, two losses and one tie. The most recent win was against Incarnate Ward at home, where they won 4-1, with senior midfielder Jaycie Bass scoring two goals assisted by Reynolds.

Reynolds has recorded seven shots, five on goal and two goals. Kendall has faced 14 shots, making five saves while allowing three goals. Harr has contributed two shots, one on goal, with one goal and one assist.
